Healthworks is pleased to offer non-invasive cardiovascular workforce personnel which encompass a range of diagnostic and monitoring procedures that assess the heart and vascular system without the need for incisions or entering the body directly. These procedures play a pivotal role in the early detection, management, and treatment planning of heart-related ailments, offering a safer and less discomforting alternative to invasive procedures for patients. Some common non-invasive cardiovascular specialties include:

Echocardiography

Electrocardiography (ECG or EKG)

Stress Testing

Holter Monitoring

 Cardiac Event Monitoring

Vascular Ultrasound

These non-invasive specialties require specialized training, expertise, and advanced technology to perform these tests safely and effectively. They play a crucial role in diagnosing.

A Cardiac Sonographer is a specialized healthcare professional who performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures on patients to assess the structure and function of the heart and blood vessels. They use high-frequency sound waves (ultrasound) to create images of the heart, known as echocardiograms, which help cardiologists diagnose and evaluate various cardiovascular conditions.

A Vascular Sonographer, also known as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist or Vascular Technologist, is a specialized healthcare professional who performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures to assess the blood vessels and circulation within the body. They use ultrasound technology to create images of arteries and veins, helping physicians diagnose and evaluate various vascular conditions.

A General Ultrasound Technologist, also known as an Ultrasound Technician or Sonographer, is a healthcare professional who specializes in performing ultrasound examinations to produce diagnostic images of various parts of the body. They use high-frequency sound waves to create images of internal structures, organs, and tissues, which are then used by physicians to diagnose and monitor medical conditions.

A Stress Technician is a specialized healthcare professional who assists in the administration of stress tests, particularly those related to the cardiovascular system.

Many of our Healthworks non-invasive team members are cross trained to support vascular studies.
